Fenwell Tech Group is a UK-Nigeria cross-border technology group founded by Hakeem Essien, scaling across African markets. We build intelligent, compliance-ready software products for emerging markets. Our flagship product, ClaimsIQ, delivers AI-powered claims intelligence to NAICOM-licensed Nigerian insurers via WhatsApp and is in build ahead of its first pilot in Q4 2026. OneIQ Hub, our role-gated AI document intelligence platform, is in private beta and opens Q1 2027. We are building technology that outlasts us.

How we are structured.
All intellectual property is held in Fenwell Tech Ltd, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17299246). Our Nigerian operations are run through locally incorporated entities that licence IP from Fenwell Tech. This structure protects our IP, protects our clients, and creates a durable commercial model — licence fees in GBP, operations in NGN.

Hakeem Essien
I have spent 20+ years across financial services, insurance, logistics and public-sector transport. I currently lead the Service Design & Transition function on Bupa Global’s Galileo transformation programme, and I am Founder & Group Director of Fenwell Tech Group (Fenwell Tech Ltd, UK Co. 17299246).
Fenwell Tech is the company I have been building toward for that entire time. Not a startup chasing a round. A technology group — built to last, structured to scale, designed so that the work speaks for itself.
